Bilous O. Substantiation of an allowable deviation of a working surface of drums of powerful conveyors from the cylinder.

The mechanism of interaction not of a cylindrical drum with a tape is specified. The task was decided in view of a complex of the factors influencing durability of a tape at its interaction with not a cylindrical drum. To such factors concern: transfer to a tape of effort, structure of a tape, elasticity of a covering of a drum on shift, not equality of linear speeds of points located on forming not of a cylindrical drum and lengths of circles, that these points describe at rotation of a drum, and also design of the conveyor on a transitive site. Character is intense - is deformed condition of tapes strengthened by cables and of tapes strengthened by a fabric qualitatively various. The regional effects in the first case work on distances, which exceed length of contact of a tape and drum. The deviation of the form of a drum of the cylinder reduces durability of a tape and joints. A result is used in a mining industry.
