Bilousov E. Raise of profitability of ship propulsive plants by usage of solid fuel in internal combustion engines

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of introduction in ship systems of power generation of solid fuel reciprocating engines with arrangement of solid propellant in a stratum, which one is in a separate reactor. In a thesis is designed the new expedient of holding of process of burning of solid propellant in a reactor of a reciprocating engine by a method of forced passage of a heavy air through a stratum of solid propellant heated up to temperature of activation of reactions of burning. Carried out the examination of the proposed engineering solutions with usage of methods physical and mathematical modeling of working processes. Is established, that usage of a designed expedient of burning of solid propellants allows to avoid a majority of the negative phenomena, which one are characteristic for other methods of usage of solid propellants in marine engines of internal combustion.
