The dissertation research devoted to a problem of preparation of the teacher of physics to teaching of an educational subject of a basis of safety of ability to live at school. In the dissertation the system of scientific - methodical maintenance of preparation of the teacher of physics to teaching bases of safety of ability to live in general educational establishments is developed. For achievement of a level of professional readiness of the teacher of physics to teaching bases of safety of ability to live it is necessary, that all system of scientific - methodical maintenance of training of this discipline was based on the concept of a pedagogical orientation of training of discipline "Safety of ability to live" in maximum pedagogical educational institutions. One of effective ways of professional readiness of the teachers of physics to teaching bases of safety of ability to live in general educational establishments, is introduction of the qualitatively new educational rate, offered in the dissertation, "a Technique of teaching of bases of safety of ability to live in general educational institutions". The developed component of the qualifying characteristic of the teacher of physics, in that part, as to safety of ability to live.
