Podrushnyak V. Grounding and working out of qualification criteria in the system of professional training and using of medical specialists in health protection system

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of training system and using of medical specialists in conditions of health protection reformation. The present state of training and using of medical specialists has been analysed. Medical and sociological study has been conducted. It was concerned with the attitude of medical workers to quality level of their professional training, the improvement and using in health protection system. The medical occupations classification has been for the first time grounded and worked out in accordance with ISCO-88: International Standard Classification of Occupations/ILO, Geneva), taking into account the national approach to specialists training and use, which would permit to provide the international use of the national statistic information in occupation area. A conceptual model for medical specialists training and use system has been created. This model reflects the correlation of classification, listing and occupational qualification characteristics. The criteria of medical workers professional skills have been defined. They concern knowledge volume, practical skills and educational-qualification level which should process each specialist according to his occupation. The methods and qualification characteristics for medical workers occupations have been developed. A complex of informational, methodical and instructive materials has been worked out in consequence of the study. It is aimed at the increase of professional training and medical personnel use effectiveness.
