The dissertation is devoted to the solution of an important scientific and practical problem of health care - the scientific justification of the rehabilitation system for victims of armed conflict with stress-related disorders, the main goal of which is to improve the health of the participants of the anti-terrorist operation, due to the optimization of the rehabilitation system and their return to the ranks as soon as possible. Completion of the research tasks ensured the achievement of the goal of the research, which was conducted in eight interrelated organizational stages with reliable results. In the course of the study, a set of problems of the organization of health care and rehabilitation of ATO participants was identified. The work proves that as a result of the anti-terrorist operation, the number of war veterans and combatants is increasing, which requires improvement in the provision of medical care, including rehabilitation services. Based on the obtained results, a justified and developed system of rehabilitation of victims of armed conflict with stress-related disorders was developed. The basis of our proposed system of rehabilitation of victims of armed conflict with stress-related disorders is based on the factors identified during the research: informational, social, and organizational. The SADT model (abbreviation of the expression StructuralanalysisandDesignTechnique – methodology of structural analysis and design) served as the methodology for creating the rehabilitation system. The central element of the system is the ATO participant. The principle of holistic in the rehabilitation of victims of armed conflict is implemented through a combination of medical, psychological, physical, and social rehabilitation. In the process of research, implementation of individual elements of the system took place, namely: physical and psychological rehabilitation was carried out, thanks to which the level of anxiety decreased. The proposed system model was positively evaluated by independent experts. Key words: anti-terrorist operation, stress-related disorders, rehabilitation system, risk factors, veterans.
