Shcherbinska O. Substantiation of the functional and organizational model of integration of obstetric and gynecological services into the primary health care system.

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of an important scientific and practical problem of health care system – a scientific substantiation of the functional and organizational integration model of obstetric and gynecological services to the level of primary health care system. The tasks of the study were complex and designed to achieve the aims. They were based on a systematic approach and their implementation ensured to achieve the research aim. The volume of the study was calculated and provided the reliable results. The research was conducted in seven interrelated organizational stages. In the course of complex medical and social research, a set of problems of the organization of health care for the female population was identified. Based on the results obtained during the research, a functional and organizational model of integration of obstetric and gynecological services to the level of primary health care at the present stage of society development and health care reform was substantiated and developed, the aim of which is to provide women with available quality obstetric and gynecological services according to the Law of Ukraine “On State Financial Guarantees of Medical Care”. The system is cross-sectoral and includes as components the solutions to women’s health problems.
