Natalia M. Integration Processes in the Latin America and the Caribbean: peculiarities, tendencies, perspectives.

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of integration processes in Latin America and the Caribbean in the 90s of the 20th century. The author specifies the role of integration of Latin American and Caribbean states in the regional system of international relations. While examining the experience of integration within the main regional groups of states in 90s the author defines some general tendencies, peculiarities, obstacles and contradictions of integration processes. The principle attention is paid to examine political problems of integration, while taking into consideration the peculiarities of Latin American integration model, Inter-American security system and political and social processes in Latin America and Caribbean region.
