Matlak O. Structural transformation of transitional economies and its peculiarity in Ukraine.

The dissertation is devoted to the vital problems of structural transformation in transitional economies. There is offered a conception of structural transformation, which consists of industrial, technological, reproductional, institutional and external economic blocks. The author proposes a mechanism for structural policy's priorities defining, the whole point of that is purposeful stimulation of chain reaction for reinforcement a positive structural changes. The implementation of "overtaking-development model" is proved to be ineffective in conditions of post-industrial changes. It's argued that Ukrainian economy doesn't have necessary resources for archiving post-industrial structural changes in medium-term period. The perspectives of structural renewal of Ukrainian economy in the near future are determined in resource accumulation from development of old-economy priority-driven industries and stimulation of its redistribution for archiving post-industrial changes.
