Mokhnenko A. The Formation of Small Business in the Region and Support of its Development (Kherson Region as a sample)

The dissertation focuses on the theoretical and methodological bases of the formation and development of small business as a certain category of the national and regional economics. It reveals the role, status, criteria and forms of small business in the economic system of the region, exposes its main functions in the formation of economic environment. The complex approach to the estimation of small enterprises functioning in the region is aimed at the analysis of development and settlement of small business as well as defining the set of social and economic factors determining small business development. The analysis of the basic principles of the state policy concerning small business support is carried out in this dissertation. The conception of the support of small business development under conditions of economics transformational period is grounded in the dissertation. This conception is aimed at the improvement and perfection of organizational and economic mechanisms of small business support.The Regional Small Business Support Program is worked out.
