Savyeleva T. Corporate Structures Formation and Functioning in the Economics of Region

Object of research: corporative structures (stock companies) in region's economy, corporative management bodies and system of corporative relations. Purpose of research: development of theoretic, methodic statements, applications and scientifically grounded recommendation concerning building of corporative structures in region's economy, management methods improvement for insuring of their effective functioning. Research approach and tools: historical approach and dialectic method of acknowledgment; method of logic analysis; complex and system approach; economic and law approach; factor and statistical analysis; comparative analysis and method of comparisons. Theoretic and practical results: methodic recommendations concerning region's corporative structure's management methods improvement are given, new approaches for region's corporative structures functioning efficiency increase are suggested. Public enterprises and stock companies, in particular non-profitable, achieved for their disposal applicable recommendations concerning securing of their effective functioning under conditions of transitional economy. Conclusions and materials proposed in the thesis are used in teaching in Donetsk office of Interregional academy of personnel management during lections on Political Economy course under topic "Stock Companies" and Management course, during development of tutorials for new course "Basics of Corporative Management". The results of research gained practical implementation and has been implemented on OJSK "Donetsk High-voltage Pier Plant", OJSK "Avdeevsky Coke and Chemical Plant", in regional office of State Property Foundation of Ukraine in Donetsk Region. Scientific novelty of achieved results consists of complex approach to the problem of building and functioning of corporative structures in region's economy, development of effective methods for region's corporative structures' management based on corporative management's world experience, modern practice of large corporative structure's functioningin the region. Methods of corporative structures' management and corporative relations are analyzed as the system: in given stock company, in region and national economy. For the first time new approach for large enterprises' privatization process is suggested, new notion of "adequacy of public sector's share" is introduced, recommendations for common parameter of large enterprise definition is developed, the ways of reformations for native corporative management model based on modification of corporative structure's joint-stock capital are proven, the ways of corporative structures' management methods' improvement are proposed. Field of use is public enterprises and stock companies of regions of Ukraine, regional management bodies, universities.
