The subject - industrial process for manufacture of shut-off valves; objective - improvement of shut-off valves performance by means of use of the most advanced coating materials and optimization of operating parameters of coatings application; used methods - weight method, thermometric method, hardness micro gauge method, optic metallography; novelty - development of a complex scientifically grounded approach to research, development of a process for application of reinforcing coatings, reliable determination of their efficiency in terms of components of shut-off valves, development of procedure and equipment for application of wear-resistant coatings on the components of shut-off valves, determination of optimum modes for spraying of coatings by vacuum-vapour method; obtained results - development and introduction into production of a process for application of reinforcing coatings to provide improvement of operating performance of shut-off valves, economic efficiency is 500640 UAH; field of application - oil-and-gas production industry.
