Trygub O. Polymorphism of common buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.) on a level of productivity and adaptability to the conditions of Forest-Steppe of Ukraine

Subject of inquiry: the varietal samples of common buckwheat (fagopyrum esculentum Moench.) from the National Collection of Ukraine. The surpose of investigation: the study of buckwheat genefund in the from of different ecologo-geografical groups on the productions and adaptivity characters and the display of genetic sources of buckwheat on these characters with high level of adaption to the conditions of the Ukrainian Forest-Steppe as the valuable parental material for the breeding of new generation varieties. The research methods are: general scientific and special. The theoretical and practical results: the details of adaptivity and praction character expression in the different ecologo-geographical groups of buckwheat under conditios of the Ukrainian Forest-Steppe are revealed; the level of interconditionality, interconnection and genotype-environmental effect of these character formation are established, the buckwheat ecotypes on mentined characters are identified on their basis and genetic sources of these characters are revealed; the system of diagnostic assessments that characterize the level of plant organism capacity at the various stages of ontogenesis to resist to stress factor action is developed.
