Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation and systematisation of the Ukrainian-Russian language interaction phenomena that have appeared in modern Ukrainian as a result of long time contact bilinguism caused by different extralinguistic factors. Analyses of the Russian interferentional adoptions and calques revealed in the Kharkiv Ukrainian press of that period by the method of total selection has been carried out. Lexico-semantical and structure-semantical classification of interferems was done, the main interferentional mechanisms on the grammar level were established. Sphere of use: lexicography, stylistics, lexicology.
