Pogorska I. Eurointegrational policy of France

The author classity EU as subsystem of transatlantic system and complexly invistigetes the integrational vector of Franco-American relations. To pass on new stage in the strategic thinking, transformation strategic paradigm is fixed. France and USA moving towards the other on such sensitive issues as role of the EU and the transatlantic relationship. But it is the global convergence of positions that are at the basis of the social contract such a democratic essences and two parts of western civilisation.The thesis difines the speciality of evolution French easteuropean strategy in the context of EU enlargement. The interdependence of conceptual and practical aspects is demonstrated. France aims at developing a strategic partnership between the EU and "new democraties" on the basis of common objective to unite European continent, create prosperity, peace, security and social solidarity. But France insist on fulfillment the necessary preconditions for enlargement in terms of institutional reform, on reforc-ing regional level's capasity for governance in the enlarged Union, on cor-respondence of candidate - countries to criteria of convergence. While ac-knowledging European choice of partners from Easrern Europe, French integrational initiatives focusing on the EU's stability as regional system.The character and principal directions of France's action concerning perspectives of Ukrainian state is investigated. At present time France and Ukraine have developed strong relations based on mutual interest includ-ing political dialogue. EU integration is in the national interests of both countries.
