Essay

Object of research: foreign sector - specific segment of modern market economy. Purpose of research: devel-opment of scientific and conceptual basis for formation of foreign sector as a structural element of modern market economy and determination of the place and the role of it in the system. Methods of research: system, comparative, historical analysis, analysis and synthesis, economic and mathematical methods, diagram methods. Results: the statements stating that international capital movement is subordinated system, including different elements, is methodologically grounded. Comparative analysis of dif-ferent forms of the system is performed, it is derived that direct foreign investments have main place in it. Theory of investment climate and international capital movement gained further development. Complex analysis of criteria and ratings, influencing on investment climate, investment attraction of different countries for foreign investors are given. For the first time its grounded definition asa structural element is given. Methodology of mechanism of foreign sector formation analysis is proposed; specific place of foreign sector in the system of economic relations is derived; it is proposed to introduce into scientific eco-nomic categories, determining the role of foreign sector: index of direct investment concentration, foreign index for recipient countries, critical mass of PEI, new generations of transnational corporations; for the first time it is defined main structural parts of foreign sector: economical, scien-tific and technological, professional and labor, foreign trade. Models of transnationalization of entrepreneur ac-tivity of foreign sector are proposed; it is proven that for-eign sector has double-crossed nature and can positively and negatively influence on the countries. Novelty: con-ception of formation and development of foreign sector as a specific segment of economy of the almost all of the world countries; methodology of systematic economic and statistic analysis of complex rating; introduction of new notions of "index of PEI concentration of the country", "foreign index for recipient countries", "new generations of transnational corporations"; main elements of the for-eign sector and economic and statistic analysis of forma-tion and development of its potentials.
