Dissertation is devoted to the study of metabolic changes in blood, hepatic tissues, mucous membranes of stomach and small intestine including ultrastructural changes in gastric mucosa under conditions of single and combined action of hypothirosis and small doses of radiation. It has been established that optimal correlation of lipoperoxidation level and activity of antioxidant defence system, correlation of metabolic processes in digestive system organs, mobilization of detoxycative systems determined an effectiveness of adaptive and compensatory reactions development. It has been revealed positive effect of administering amaranth in groups under investigation with separate and joint influence of extreme factors.
