Essay

The protection devices for cable and pipeline systems of ship power mountings are developed. During researches the factors determining reliability, fail-safe and safety cable and pipeline systems of ship power plants are updated; protection devices thermal conduction mathematical model is developed; is found that the spherical form of protection devices filled with fire-fighting powder is preferable. The mathematical means of heat-mass-transfer theory was used in the mathematical model development. Laboratory experiments were made on stands according to international standards demands and demands of Rules of the Register of navigation of Ukraine. By dissertation researches results the module family of protection devices constructions is developed, the program "Protection devices parameters computation" and projection methods are developed. The protection devices samples were approbated on shiprepair and ship-building enterprises. The technical documentation is sent to specialized projection bureau. Theapplication field distributed on surface and underwater objects, marine chisel platforms, research and design organization.
