Thesis is devoted to the problem of Ukrainian stock market formation in the context of state financial security. The economic nature of stock market is determined and basic elements of stock market organization are investigated. The main factors and peculiarities of domestic stock market formation are determined. The investigation shows up the tendencies of stock market development in future. The author determines the role of stock market in the system to ensure state financial security, menaces to financial security in stock market and indicators that define investment direction of stock market. The influence of stock markets globalization on financial security of Ukraine is exposed. Specific recommendations to ensure domestic stock market competitiveness are proposed.
