The dissertation is devoted to explication of the publicistic text latent influence, revealing of structural, lexical, semantic elements of influence and their realization in the text. The definition of the latent influence is suggested in the investigation, type influence classification is developed on the base of goal achievement and ways of recipient attention activation. Methods of the latent influence generation are analyzed at the level of structure, semantic relations and lexical expression of denotants are investigated. The adaptation peculiarities of influence methods in the text are revealed on the basis of modern publicistic texts analysis. Three partial methods to reveal places of influence in the text are suggested in the investigation: "Text informational balance estimation '', "Vector analysis of the text", "Sense-expression mapping " and complex procedure, which integrates and structurizes all partial methods. The algorithms of text analysis are developed, the experimental examination of the named methods usage efficiency is carried out , and has given positive results.
