The object of research is a process of skills forming of independent work of expected engineers on an example of the higher mathematics course.The thesis is devoted to research of skills forming of independent work problem of expected engineers. The pedagogical conditions of influence of game studies on the process of skills forming of independent work in teaching and education process in technical university are determined and theoretically substantiated. The system of skills forming of independent work has been work out. It includes the aim, the subjects of teaching process, the methods of forming, the complex of game studies, different kids students' independent work. In the process of research the indices and standarde of skills forming of independent work have been worked out. The condition of skills presence of independent work at students at technical university was investigated.
