Svetlana V. Professional journalistic ethics on the present stage of democracy development in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to research of journalistic ethics developmentlevel and its implementation in the countries with a different level of democracy formation. In this work experience of press ethics in democratic countries was generated, peculiarities of journalistic professional ethics were discovered, democratic principles and values influence formation and legitimizing of press ethics principles were analyser, crossing points of press ethics and macroethics were determined, opportunities of macroethics terms application in the professional journalistic ethics were discovered. Problem of professional ethics was researched paying special attention to democratisation processes. Critical analysis of the Ukrainian professional journalist ethics Code was carried out, directions of its improvement in accordance with time requirements were proposed. Danger of freedom of speach and freedom of person conflicts were noticed. Arguments for the benefit of application of principles and macroethics categories in journalistic ethics were explained.
