The work represented psychological features to the motive of achievement and the motive of failures' avoidance of school leavers of the boarding school in comparison with children with the same age of secondary schools, depending on the type and the duration of parental influence's deprivation, the place of living and sexual peculiarities. It was found the correlation between the achievement motivation and the process of studying, and personal characteristics; defined the criteria and the indices for diagnostics of levels of achievement motivation. It is based psychology and pedagogical conditions of formation the achievement motivation and tested the working system with it is psychological correction in studying process at boarding schools
