Object - the process of correlation between competence of the chief and efficiency of her activity; purpose - the development of methodological and methodical bases of an evaluation of influence of competence on a level of efficiency of activity of managing staff of the enterprises in conditions of stabilizing market economy of Ukraine; methods - logic analysis, synthesis and generalization, graphic and comparative analysis, selective observation, expert valuations, testing, analysis of the documentation, form-filling and interviewing, statistical processing of outcomes of a research; the novelty - a classification of functional and economic administrative roles is developed according to methods of business operation; a universal structural and mathematical model of competence of the chief is developed for the first time; the mathematical way proves a leading role of personal features of the chief in determination of a competence level; calculated factor of individual competence as qualitative parameter of the correspondence to official requests; was introduced in activity of the enterprises; management of the enterprises.
