Dissertation examines actual problems of formation and development of international humanitarian law, implemented by Ukraine in the period of armed conflicts. The dissertations deals with conceptual-institutional problems of international humanitarian law genesis, used during the period of armed conflicts; international law regulation of war acts and the necessity of its further codification is analyzed. Implementation of the international humanitarian law into national legislation is also reviewed.
