Essay

The object is personality of the sportsman who is under influence of psychotraumatical factors; the purpose is to discover psychological changes of the yachtsman's personality which occur under the psychotraumatical factors influence during sports activity and to find directions of sportsmen's psychological preparation improvement in view of character of the revealed changes; the methods are the theoretical analysis and generalization, pedagogical observation, pedagogical ascertaining experiment, statistical methods; the new approach lies in revealed features of reaction to psychotraumatical factors influence which, in combination to the data on qualities which cause a level of sensitivity to psychotraumatical influence, enable to predict character of not pathological changes of the sportsman's personality; the main include practical recommendations for optimization of yachtsmen's psychological preparation; all this thesis has been developed in sports schools (branch of sailing); the field is Sports Psychology
