Ignatov M. Scientific a substantiation of vaccinal prevention of an infectious bronchitis of hens.

The object of studies: hen of different age groups and crossings of Lugansk region poultry farms; serum samples and pathologic material; embryonated eggs; vaccines; preventive vaccination and its effectiveness control. The aim of studies: to improve the preventive vaccination programes and evaluation criteria of chicken postvaccination immunity to Infectious Bronchitis Virus on Lugansk region poultry farms. Methods of studies: epizootologic, clinical, pathalogoanatomical, virusological, microbiologicai, immunological, biochemical, histomorphological, statistical. Theoretical results: the epizootic situation on poultry farms of Lugansk region was defined to be unstable as to chicken Infectious Bronchitis; the necessity of chicken immunation schemes improvement was proved taking into account the level of motherly antibodies; the epizootic strain of Infectious Bronchitis Virus from Layers was isolated and its difference with vaccine strain was proved. Practical results: scientifically based vaccination schemes were worked out and introduced on poultry farms of Lugansk region; an instruction of preventive measures were worked out as to Infectious Bronchitis Virus and its elimination.
