Thesis is an independent complete academic work, complex research of theoretical and practical aspects of credit and credit relations under conditions of market transformation of the economy. The work analyzes the problems of theory of credit in the context of development of market relations and the peculiarities of organization of credit relations under conditions of market transformation of the economy. Credit is stated to be a category of production, effective method of optimizing business, production relations and public capital. The author analyzes the peculiarities of formation of banking system and the process of granting a credit as well as the issue of institutional security of the development of credit system. The author pays special attention to the analyses of development of modern forms of credit in Ukraine, the formation of interest and price policy of Ukrainian commercial banks and the improvement of mechanisms of bank crediting.
