The dissertation is denoted to the research of development and forma-tions basis of sciences about traces in criminalistics, criminal law's notion and categorization of traces in general and traces of foots and accompanying it traces, the regularities of their formations, as well as possibilities and ways of determination with help of separate facts and circumstances in activity of Borderguards of Ukraine. The offers and recommendations on improvement of checking-up plays if event and work with traces of foots and accompanying it traces, discovered at the process of investigation of crimes concerning the violations of the state border, are worded in this paper on the grounds of studies literature and analyses of Borderguards of Ukraine activity.
