Object: Ceremonial wedding lexicon of Polish language. The purpose: An analysis of grammatical, semantic and derivation specification of Polish ceremonial lexicon is given. Polish wedding lexicon in the regions of Polish-Ukrainian historical activity is investigated. Methods: structural-semiotic, descriptive, typology-comparative, historical-comparative and method of context analysis. Theoretical significance: Deepening a number of theoretical problems concerning a linguistic picture of the world. In the frames of ethnolinguistics method the lexicon of culture connotation investigation is proposed. Practical value: It is possible to take advantage of materials of work for learning Polish language, for theoretical and practical translating and for the conclusion ethnolinguistics and translating dictionaries. Novelty: For the first Polish ceremonial lexicon as lexical-semantic system concerning a linguistic picture of the world is investigated.
