Essay

Object: physician's professional communication language in its oral and writing practice. Aim: to analyse the medical professional language for revealing the functional work of the codified and spoken non-codified stereotypes. Methods: observation, questionnaires, lexico-semantic analysis, lexicographic description of the material, revealing of strong and weak literary standards, quantative analysis. Novelty: for the first time there were investigated the language stereotypes functioning and their analysis, worked out the physician's professional language and communication model, mentioned M.Levitsky and M.Galyn's role in the medical terminology functioning. Application sphere: medical personnel professional communication, working out and improving standards for medical documentation, compiling terminological dictionaries.
