Essay

In the dissertation there is studied symbolics and semantics of verbal-actional universalies of Ukrainian charms, which are developed in their formal and notional aspects. There is proposed new general conception of the study of the symbolics of folklore texts, based upon complex application of scientific methods. The research of material is accomplished in two directions: 1) research of internal semantics of ceremonies of attending charms in correlation with form-creating elements; 2) determining of role and place of a motive, mythical-poetical characters in the process of verbal magical healing.
