The object - training process of qualified 400 m distance runners. The aim of the investigation reserch was to produce theoreiical and experimental substantiation of the perfection methods of technical skills of 400 m distance runners using means of audio and video urgent information methods6 analysis of sciens and methods literature, pedagogical observations, previous and main pedagogical experiments, radar methods of measuring the running speed, radio telemertry, electrohoniomentry, videotaping,methods of mathematical statistics. The novelty - for the first time the methods of technical skills perfection of 400 m distance runners were worked out and substantiated; the high effectiveness of using means of audio and video urgent information in the process of improvement of technical skills of 400 m distance runners that ensures the effective control and correction of motor activity was brought to light, scientific knowledge as far as the specific regularities of forming the technical skills of 400 m distance runners was supplemented. Results - the following aspects were worked out: methods of evaluation of technical preparedness of 400 m short distance runners; pattern of training lessons to improve the it technical skills of 400 m distance runners; methods of perfection of technical skills of 400 m distance runners using the means of audio and video urgent information; methodical recommendations for trainers of children's and youth sports schools, specialized children's youth school of olympic reserve.
