Olena V. Capital market of Ukraine: formation peculiarities and development prospects

The object is сapital market as an element of financing redistribitive mechanism; the objective is theoretical grounding of social and economic content of capital market, its place and role in the process of market relations development in Ukraine; the methods are scientific information gathering and processing methods, mathematical and statistical methods. The dissertation specifies the economic content of the following notions "capital market", "securities market", "financial market". The problems of priority and correlation of capital market functions for countries with a transit economy are studied. There have been revealed and systematized the specific factors of an objective character, which defined peculiarities in relations concerning the securities motion in Ukraine. The dissertation analyses the instruments and the institutional structure of capital market, and main trends in the dynamics of its components. The ways to improve the development of home capital market are grounded. The stages in the process of capital product modification are determined and introduced as effective to raise the investment quality of capital instruments. The results received in the research have been used in the legislative process for capital market in Ukraine, teaching process and commercial establishments' activities; branch - ecomomy.
