The thesis is dedicated to organization of management and regulation of economic and social development of rural settlements in the conditions of economic transformation. On the basis of a system analysis of functioning and development of a Ukrainian village the tendencies of economic and social development of rural settlement and factors, which bring them about are determined. The proposals are worked out concerning the mechanism formation for economic regulation of real economic sector of a rural community on multifunction basis.
