Based on the archival and working sources, making generalization of home and foreign historiography experience, the dissertation investigated the evolution and functioning of hereditary law; the influence of economic and social-domestic factors on the formation of legal consciousness of population of the region; the correlation of customary and state law concerning the regulation of the conditions of passing and division of an inheritance; their interdependency in legal systems, an influence of customary principles of passing and division of an inheritance on the development of peasant household.
