The work has devoted to the questions of the creation method of calculation of the working process of the oil-free packing reciprocating (piston) compressors, with the purpose to perfection structures this form of the technical systems by optimization tribo-packing characteristics, including friction capacity, air-tightness, wear and recourse. Based on the thermal mechanism of the forming contact characteristics, has been worked out mathematic model of the oil-free multyelement packing. The experimental verification of the primary condition has been worked out with full-scale tests on oil-free packing of reciprocating compressors. The model has been realized in the form of computation program.
