Essay

The thesis is dedicated to a question to create improved analytical methods of productivity and power characteristics calculation of liquid ring compressor machine as a part of thermo-mechanical system with the purpose to define ways of their efficiency increasing. The experimental data about the field of speeds and fluid pressures in the vane-less space, productivity and power characteristics at different operation modes are obtained depending the impeller eccentricity. The method of calculation of hydrodynamic losses in working volume is designed for the machines of this type. It is found out that loss of contact of impeller blade with the liquid ring can result in improvement of the power characteristics of the machines. The mathematical model of the working process in liquid ring compressor machines and software on the base of the model has developed.
