Essay

The thesis is concentrated on the analysis of forms, methods and techniques of influence on public opinion used in mass-communication tools. The urgency of the analysis of the presented topic is holding now inasmuch the mass media plays the dominant role in the process of reader, viewer, and listener information. Abstruse and obvious capabilities of influence on the society and the examples of application of such impact by Ukrainian journalists are codified in the thesis. Mechanisms of manipulations through press during pre-election company are described in the whole part of the thesis, because of maximum application of methods and techniques on the electorate during this period. For the first time in the domestic science there was represented the influence of the one resonance action in the life of Ukrainian nation (the disaster of the airplane SU-27 in Sknulov) and it was monitored the way of possible changes of public opinion concerning the action through genre palette with the help of mass media. The model of "Communicative dialogue" with submodels was proposed where the links between mass-media and audience are described, walls that prevent the information perception are defined.
