The dissertation is focused on systematic analysis of efficiency of international law means of assurance of realization of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. On the basis of analysis of corresponding international law documents and scientific-theoretical sources international law means of assurance of realization of the Convention were revealed and its characteristics was given. The notion, criteria and indexes of efficiency of international law means of assurance of realization of the Convention were defined. The notion, criteria, indexes and ways of establishment of efficiency of the European Court on Human Rights' decisions were clarified. The degree of efficiency of preventive function of the European Court on Human Rights' decisions was revealed. The impact of researching international law means fulfillment by Ukraine of conventional commitments was shown.
