Object of research the processes of management of financial and economic activity of manufacturing systems functioning in market conditions of managing. The purpose of research is the development on the basis of the functional approach of the concept of strategic monitoring in management of financial and economic activity manufacturing systems and complex of models of its realization focused on increase of efficiency of acceptance of the administrative decisions of strategic character at each stage of life cycle of manufacturing systems. Novelty strategic monitoring as the specific tool focusing management by financial and economic activity of industrial systems on growth of their market value for the first time is determined; the concept of strategic monitoring in management of financial and economic activity developed is justified on the basis of the functional approach, which according to stages of life cycle allows to accept more reasonable administrative decisions; the complex of models of strategic monitoring in management of financial and economic activity constructed with allowance for of stages of life cycle of industrial systems is developed.
