Essay

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of marine gas-turbine engine lubrication systems with air cooling of oil by utilization of thermosensitive elements from shape memory alloys (SMA). The mathematical model of thermomechanical behavior for twisting strength elements in all operation temperature range of marine gas-turbine engine lubrication systems has been offered. The calculation methods of thermal actuators for marine power plant systems regulating units with spring thermosensitive elements from SMA have been worked out. Heat and mechanical treatment conditions for forming the required functional possibilities of the spring strength elements with the shape memory effect were established. Research, development and practical implementation of the oil temperature regulator prototype (that is in conformity with exploitation features of gas-turbine engine lubrication system with air cooling of oil for air-cushion vehicles) on the basis of spring nickel-titanium alloy elements have been carried out.
