Irina S. The Zaporizka press of 1920-1940: genre and stylistic peculiarities

In the dissertation a comprehensive research of the Zaporizka press of 1920-1940 as an entire system has been carried out, the primary reasons for the origin of the Ukrainian newspapers in the region has been determined, sociocultural foundation of the development of the specific typological pattern of the local periodicals has been defined, and polymathic classification of the Zaporizka press system of 1920-1940 has been developed. Genre and stylistic specifities of the local periodicals have been examined and analyzed. Genre paradigm of the local newspapers has been examined and the reasons for the tough regulation genre dominant of the totalitarian press have been elucidated. Taking into account language and stylistic markers of the journalistic texts, evolutional transformations of genre varieties of narration and report have been researched; development of satirical and journalistic genres in the local newspapers has been analyzed.
