This thesis is devoted to the complex research of theoretical and practical issues concerning assessment of sources of evidence in the criminal procedure of Ukraine. The definition and legal nature of evidence as well as source of evidence is analyzed. The author analyzed the definition of content of assessment of evidence. Questions concerning assessment of specific sources of evidence fixed in the Ukrainian criminal procedure law are also examined.
