It was shown that chronic pilocaprin-induced EpA characterized by first generalized seizure reactions appearance that lasted for 30-35 min. Pilocarpin-induced chronic EpA early stage electrographically characterizes mainly by both frontal cortex and ventral hippocampus hyperactivation; interictal period revealed the named structures spikes amplitude decreasing. It was shown that pilocarpin-induced chronic EpA interictal period characterized by behavioral nonseizure manifestation appearance as vertical and gorizontal motor activity indexes decreasing in the "open field" test, emotional, stereotyped and aggressive-defenced behaviour indexes decreasing, passive-adaptive elements of swimming behaviour increasing, decreasing of rats' ability to change to active swimming behaviour as well as neuroleptic components prevailing in the posture syndrome evaluation. The conclusion was made that pilocarpin-induced chronic EpA interictal period is adequate model for the investigation of the nonseizure behavioural forms that reflect the activity of the endogenous antiepileptic system. The observed behavioural effects during the frontal cortex functional activity modulation are in favour of regulative influences searching aimed to the epileptiform activity suppression in conditions of pilocarpin-induced chronic seizures. The data obtained are in favour of cholinergic mechanisms 'trigger' role in EpA as well as EpA maintainаnce and participation in behavioural disturbances in epileptic syndrome.
