Essay

The thesis is aimed at elaborating methodology of forming grammar skills while taking into account students( individual characteristics. The object of the research is the process of making foreign language habits and skills with the foreign language students and its managing. The purpose of the research: based on the theoretical study, to make up a system of exercises for teaching students tense and aspect of the English language the composition of which could enable to neutralize the negative influence of some affective characteristics and therefore to achieve the efficient acquisition of these forms by all students. The methods of the research included the analysis of linguistic, psychology, psycholinguistic and methodological literature on the research subject; students testing and questioning; making the working hypothesis; modeling; methodological experiment, statistical calculation of the results. The scientific novelty of the results lies in the fact that iis for the first time that the authorprovided the scientific basis, made up and checked experimentally a system of exercises which, due to the possibility of prompt changing of teaching information types, can ensure the efficient forming of foreign language grammar skills with the students inclined to negative affective characteristics. The practical value of the research results lies in determining the affective factors which directly influence (positively or negatively) the process of foreign language grammar skills. The experiments enabled to find the ways of neutralizing of the anxiety negative impact on the efficiency of forming grammar habits beyond the native environment. The research results enabled to formulate recommendations on the use of teaching information de students depending on the degree of their potential anxiety. The elaborated methods of teaching English tense and aspect has been put into practice in three higher educational establishments.
