Object of research -planning structure of cities. The purpose of work - scientific substantiation of spatial organization of a lay-out of city and technique of its introduction in design practice. Methods of research - graph -analytic analysis, imitating modelling of rhythmic development planning of a composition, experimental designing of cities of Ukraine. Scientific novelty of work - definition of laws of rhythmic development of an urban lay-out. The practical importance of work - use of the offered recommendations will allow to receive the advanced town-planning decisions with the best lay-out of architectural space, organization of environment. Working up of separate rules of research direct to improve a technique of organization of the urban plans, increase of a role of a composition of the urban plan.
