Essay

The work is devoted to the generalization and analysis of all kinds of ancient Greek wares of ar-chaeological remains on the Left-bank forest steppe of Dnieper area of skythian epoch with the definitions of their importance in the economical andcultural development of local population. There is information confirming the existence of continous trade changeable relations between an-tique centers and local tribes in the second half of the VII-th till the III-d centuries B.C. - which are di-vided into 6 stages. It is determined that at the early stages import from Ionia's centers of Asia Minor dominated with the help of leading part of Borisphen and Olbia mediate trade. At later periods it was observed the transition of the priority in the developing of this process to Egende, Continental Greece, to the South-Pontiysk centers and cities of the Black Sea area. The analysis of the main categories of antique import points to the fact that the main consumers were the representatives of the local tribal renowned people, prosperous agriculturists. Only in their mode of life and in their funeral rituals the elements of ellinization are observed that are deeply penetrated to the economy and culture of the same social groups of population from Right-bank forest-steppe and Middle Podon.
