The dissertation is aimed to study the essence and the tendencies of development of social production under the conditions of scientific and technological progress, and through the comprehension of this process - to research the main factors of intensification of scientific and technological progress, as well as the influence of the latter on the economic relations in the expanded reproduction of transformational Ukrainian economy. Under consideration are the main ways of improving the existing system of regulation and management of scientific and technological progress. Special attention is given to the methods of pursuing effective financial policy and to the instruments of stimulation of scientific and technological progress.
