The object is the social and economic relations at macro- and microeconomic levels arising in connection with implementation of restructuring. The objective is to explore social and economic grounds, content, role and directions of the restructuring. The methods embrace scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, unity of the historical and the logical, quantitative and qualitative analysis, simulation, functional and statistical analysis. Results, novelty: Necessity of a mainly innovative approach to the restructuring as resources rationalization and recombination that ensures increased allocation-specific and adaptive effectiveness of the enterprise has been substantiated; one-in-two nature of restructuring in the transformational economy conditions has been revealed; market restructuring types have been classified by objectives of implementation, stages, forms of ownership, scale of transformations; division into periods has been grounded and resources strategies of therestructuring have been worked out; systematized restructuring control functions have been devised; measures for improving processes of restructuring have been suggested. The scope of application: may be employed to improve the legislation base, in the educational process, in consulting activities and for managerial staff of enterprises.
