A technology processs for precision processing of sealing ? ring end surface, made of a relit-based composite material. Increase in the technology process efficiency was achieved through a theoretically substantiated choice of optimum routing variants and technological operation parametrs. The theretical metthods are based on mechanical engineering technology fundamentals and on the theory of materials cutting, mathematical modelling, experimental application methods for profilometer-profilograf, electron microscope. New mathematical models have been developed for flat surface roughness in diamond-abrasive processing, productivity, cost value, non-flatness of processing, size of formed burrs, cutting temperature and force in grinding. On their basis, optimum routing variants and technological operation parametrs have been substantial. An effecctive technologe process for sealing-ring processing has been developed, which provides an increase in productivity and processing quality. It has been introduced into production with a considerable economical efficiency. Mechanical engineering is an industry of application.
